There are two types of rhinoplasty procedures: closed rhinoplasty and open rhinoplasty. In closed rhinoplasty, incisions are made inside the nostrils, making them virtually impossible for others to detect. Through these interior incisions, Dr. Letourneau will shape the nasal contours to meet the patient’s individual needs and goals.
In open rhinoplasty, the incision is made across the bridge of the nose. This incision allows greater access to the cartilage and bone and may be necessary in some cases.
